Four days ago, Facebook suspended my account because my name was in violation of their community standards. However, oddly enough, my name wasn't against their standards.

"It looks like the name on your Facebook account may not be your authentic name. We ask everyone to use the name they go by in real life so friends know who they're connecting with. If this is the name you use in your everyday life, we would like to work with you to verify the name that best represents your identity. We accept a number of documents to allow you to verify your everyday name." 

In their description there is not one mention of a using a legal name. My name was listed as "Joshua D. Pathfinder" which is the name I use in my day to day life, across social media, in cosplay communities, BJD communities, with friends, and even with family. This is the name that best represents my identity. 

Furthermore, I have good reasons to not use my real last name publicly. Those reasons come in the form of stalkers who would harm me if they were able to look me up by my legal last name.  

Facebook won't listen to me. But they can't ignore a large group of people.  Please consider signing my petition and sharing it on  all your social media sites. Make as many people see this as possible; Facebook is making villains out of victims.

Hello, 

I am preparing for Otakon this summer and am working on not one, but two new cosplays! I hope that everyone will look forward to seeing them as much as I am looking forward to wearing them!  

Kakyoin from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Nishinoya from Haikyuu!!

My dad was playing fetch with Domino, my puppy, while I was at work. When he decided to take it upon himself to lob the ball into a dangerous part of the yard. Domino cut his foot open on, likely, the same object my nephew cut his foot open on a few weeks prior. 

I love my dog but thank you pup for your young lack of spacial awareness. Dogs don't innately look at their feet I know, but damn. $304 is the estimate for his surgery today.  He's never hurt himself while I have him. My dad plays with him and less than 20mins later he's bleeding. Then! On top of that! They didn't take him to the vet right away- they said it was fine, just a small scratch. The next day when I saw it, it was not just a scratch. And he needed a trip to the vet- but my vet office was closed on Sunday. Off to the emergency vets for him!  Who just bandaged it for $200 bucks, with a cone of shame. That's the most expensive bandage I ever did see. 

Today I finally got him into my vet and she wanted to ream that "emergency vet" a new one for not putting stitches in right away, and for the price paid.  Now he had to have stitches and it will take him almost three months to heal. ;n;  And I have to get out of work early to go pick him up. 

This just in- I also have to buy my text books for school that starts next week. It's not like I needed money to live or anything. Ha... haha...ha. 

Alright you booboobooos.  Which of you babus am I going to see at the con this year?  :]

Also will be Narukami Yuu from Persona 4, Marshall Lee (comic version) of Fionna and Cake, and Julius from Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. I'm bringing Minato from P3 as well but I doubt I will wear him. 

I didn't do TS Law in time but I'll have him for Otakon. D: KT and Miss Lady aren't going to Otakon this year to due previous engagements but I will likely be going still. 

Also I get to find out if I'm going to be gluten free forever on Thursday. I get to wake up early, take the math part of my Accuplacer test, then go to my neurologist, then go to work and finally finish packing and go to AB! Woot~
